What people are saying

Alisha is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the field of communication disorders. She is patient, caring, and dedicated to providing client centered, evidence-based treatment to her clients. I would recommend her services to anyone.”

“Alisha has been our daughter's school-based speech therapist for 4 years. During that time, Alisha was able to expertly support her in all aspects of speech therapy, from articulation and pacing to conversational skills and conflict resolution. Don't let her easy going manner fool you — she knows when to be tough and hold students accountable. During remote learning, I was able to observe many group sessions and I just smiled the whole time listening to her manage group banter and social games with a smile and "twinkle" in her voice — like she was one of the gang. Despite her heavy caseload and packed schedule, she always made herself available to us for questions and support. We 100% recommend "Miss Alisha" — she's one of the best SLPs we've worked with!

Miss Alisha has been a very important part of my daughter’s life. My daughter was adopted from foster care and had endured a lot of early life trauma. At four years old, she only spoke a handful of words. This is when we introduced her to Miss Alisha. Miss Alisha was so good at interacting with my daughter! She had a wealth of fun activities (i.e. games and toys) that she used to engage my daughter in speech-language lessons. Miss Alisha always explained to me what she was working on during my daughter’s speech session and gave us material that we could work on with her at home. She excelled at not only keeping my daughter’s attention on the concepts being covered in the speech session but also knowing when my daughter had reached her limit. During the two years that Miss Alisha met with my daughter, she worked on phonetics, word order and sentence structure, grammar, and sociolinguistics. She helped my daughter to improve her ability to express her emotions, ask questions and communicate intelligibly with others. I am so thankful for the kind and caring relationship that Miss Alisha was able to build with my daughter, and I am forever grateful for all of the progress that my daughter was able to make while seeing her for speech therapy.

“Alisha is a hard-working, determined, and thoughtful SLP. Her knowledge of speech and language disorders is expansive and up-to-date. Alisha’s temperament is perfectly suited to a field with varying needs and dynamics, and she has a remarkable ability to stay even-keeled no matter the circumstance. She is organized, creative, and flexible. Perhaps most importantly, Alisha is an exceptional communicator and beloved by all — students, parents, siblings, families, teachers, and colleagues.

“I met Alisha in fall 2019 as we both were supporting a new student with no prior education. We’ve collaborated now to support this student for two school years, and his progress has been nothing short of fantastic. She is methodical, professional, and compassionate — one of the best in the business!”
